Oponent Ondřej Hník Abstract Práce komparativně analyzuje a interpretuje dva reprezentativní texty přírodní prózy: Potulného lovce Karla Nového a Červenou šakalici () Shen Shixiho s cílem zjistit, jakým způsobem oba autoři pracují s kritickým antropomorfismem při zobrazování psovitých šelem. Současně systematizuje dosavadní informace o životě a tvorbě Shen Shixiho, aby přispěla k budoucímu výzkumu i popularizaci jeho díla v českém prostředí. Práce využívá deskriptivně-analytickou metodu společně s komparací. Opírá se o primární a sekundární literaturu v češtině, angličtině a čínštině. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a analytickou sekci. Úvodní část práce je věnována obecné charakteristice přírodní prózy, na kterou navazuje biografie, díla a autorský styl Karla Nového a Shen Shixiho. Ve čtvrté kapitole se otevírá analytická sekce, která podává souhrn děje vybraných knih, které jsou následně v páté kapitole paralelně rozebrány. Finální šestá část práce si klade za cíl najít podobné a rozdílné znaky v obou dílech. V samotném závěru jsou shrnuty získané poznatky. The thesis comparatively analyses and interprets two representative texts of nature prose: Karel Nový's The Wandering Hunter (Potulný lovec) and Shen Shixi's The Red Jackal () in order to find out how both authors work with critical anthropomorphism in their depiction of canids. At the same time, it systematizes the existing information on Shen Shixi's life and work in order to contribute to future research and popularization of his work in the Czech environment. The thesis uses descriptive-analytical method with comparison. It draws on primary and secondary literature in Czech, English and Chinese. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical sections. The introductory part of the thesis is devoted to the general characteristics of nature prose, followed by the biography, works and authorial style of Karel Nový and Shen Shixi. Chapter four opens the analytical section, which gives a summary of the plot of the selected books, which are then discussed in parallel in chapter five. The final sixth section of the thesis aims to find similarities and differences in the two works. In the very end, the findings are summarized. Another responsib.
