Ved. práce Ondřej Kounovský Abstract Bakalářská práce se zabývá povědomím laické veřejnosti o existenci a použití automatického externího defibrilátoru (dále jen AED). Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o elektrické aktivitě srdce a její patofyziologii, kardiopulmonální resuscitaci, laické první pomoci a její legislativě. Větší část je věnována AED, jeho významu, doporučenému postupu použití, typech a umístění. Praktická část se zabývá kvantitativním výzkumným šetřením, které bylo realizováno pomocí anonymního dotazníku umístěného na internetu. Respondenti byly dospělé osoby, které nepracují ve zdravotnictví. Cílem průzkumu bylo dozvědět se, jak je na tom laická veřejnost s informovaností ohledně AED. Výsledky byly zapracovány do přehledných tabulek a grafů a interpretovány v závěru práce. Na základě výstupních informací byly navrženy strategie, jak laickou veřejnost více informovat o existenci AED a jeho využití při poskytování první pomoci. The bachelor thesis focuses on the awareness of the general public regarding the existence and use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED). It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains information on the electrical activity of the heart and its pathophysiology, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, lay first aid, and its legislation. The majority is dedicated to AED, its significance, recommended usage procedure, types, and placement. The practical part involves a quantitative research investigation conducted through an anonymous questionnaire placed on the internet. Respondents were adults who do not work in healthcare. The main objective was to understand the general public's awareness of AED. The results were compiled into clear tables and graphs and interpreted in the conclusion of the thesis.
