Oponent Václav Novák Abstract Tato diplomová práce řeší problém starých průmyslových areálů textilních továren nacházejících se na území České a Slovenské republiky, jejichž počet zejména po politickém převratu stoupl. Blíže se zaměřuje na konverzi, kterou si textilní průmysl prošel. Neméně podstatnou částí je přístup krajů a obcí k jejich revitalizaci a problematika financování. Práce poukazuje na množství institucí podporující financovaní revitalizací, které napomáhají v boji proti brownfieldům. K řešení byly využity kvantitativně geografické metody, na jejichž základě byla vytvořena databáze bývalých českých a slovenských průmyslových areálů se zaměřením na textil. Databáze obsahuje dohromady třicet českých a slovenských textilních továren a specifické údaje o jejich existenci, jako je místo jejich polohy, rozloha areálů a na nich umístěných objektů, míra revitalizace, nynější majitel, revitalizace apod. Díky provedené analýze na základě zpracované databáze a všech potřebných informací o areálech mohlo dojít následně k porovnání veškerých aspektů bývalých průmyslových objektů mezi sebou. Výsledkem je zjištění kritického stavu bývalých areálů textilních továren, a to zejména na území ČR, kde se již od minulého století nacházelo větší množství těchto objektů. Nízkou míru revitalizace mají často na svědomí problematické vlastnické vztahy či nedostatečné financování. Výsledkem zkoumání textilního průmyslu je rovněž úpadek textilního průmyslu na území obou států, které se snaží odvětví udržet alespoň přeorientováním na výrobu jiného textilu, jako je moderní outdoorové oblečení nebo automobilový textil. This thesis addresses the problem of old industrial complexes of textile factories located in the Czech and Slovak Republics, whose number increased especially after the political coup. It takes a closer look at the conversion that the textile industry has undergone. An equally important part is the approach of regions and municipalities to their revitalisation and the issue of financing. The paper highlights a number of institutions that support the financing of revitalization and assist in the fight against brownfields. Quantitative geographic methods were used to develop a database of former Czech and Slovak industrial sites with a focus on textiles. The database contains a total of thirty Czech and Slovak textile factories and specific data about their existence, such as their location, the area of the sites and the buildings located on them, the degree of revitalisation, the current owner and revitalisation, etc. The analysis carried out on the basis of the processed database and all the necessary information about the sites could then be used to compare all aspects of the former industrial buildings with each other. The result is the identification of the critical condition of former textile factory sites, especially in the Czech Republic, where a larger number of such sites have been located since the last century. The low level of revitalisation is often due to problematic ownership relations or insufficient funding. As a result of the study of the textile industry, the decline of the textile industry in the territory of the two countries is also a result of their attempts to maintain the sector by at least reorienting it towards the production of other textiles, such as modern outdoor clothing or automotive textiles.
