Teoretickým východiskem pro následnou analýzu překladů je především vysvětlení základních pojmů z oblasti teorie překladu a jazykové ekvivalence. Praktická část práce nejprve přibližuje život a dílo Heinricha von Kleista a poté se věnuje samotné analýze českých překladů s ohledem na problematiku překladu rétorických figur. Pozornost je věnována především metafoře, alegorii a slovním hříčkám, které jsou pro toto dílo stěžejní. Tematizovány jsou ale i další rétorické figury. Cílem práce je zhodnotit přístup překladatelů k překladu rétorických figur.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the translation of Kleist's drama The Broken Jug. The theoretical part and basis for the subsequent translation analysis primarily explains basic concepts in the field of translation theory and language equivalence. The practical part focuses on the life Heinrich von Kleist's as well as deals with the analysis of Czech translations with regard to rhetorical figures. The Attention is paid mainly to metaphor, allegory and puns that are crucial for this work. However, other rhetorical figures are also themed. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the approach of translators to the translation of rhetorical figures.
