Cílem je analýza studentských řešení při překládání komplexních syntaktických struktur ve vybraných literárních dílech. Teoretická část je rozdělenou do dvou částí. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá teorií překladu, překladatelskými procesy a jejich významem pro cílené zaměření na překlad syntaktických struktur. Druhá kapitola teoretické části se zabývá rozdíly české a anglické syntaxe v možnostech navazování vyšších syntaktických celků. Praktická část poté analyzuje, jakým způsobem studenti při překladu pracovali s komplexními syntaktickými strukturami, jaké se vyskytovali chyby v jejich překladech a jaké mohou mít důvody.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of translation works of UJEP students within the course of Literary translation. The aim is to analyse the students' solutions of translating complex syntactic structures in selected literary works. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter deals with the theory of translation, translation processes and the importance of a targeted focus on the translation of syntactic structures. The second chapter deals with a comparison of Czech and English syntax regarding their possibilities of creating more complex syntactic structures. The practical part then analyses the ways students dealt with complex syntactic structures in their translations, what errors occurred in their translations and what might be causing them.
