Práce se dále soustředí na zkvalitnění života nemocného a jeho rodiny v domácím prostředí. Teoretická část zahrnuje: získané poznatky z anatomie centrálního nervového systému a jeho funkce, definice onemocnění a informace o rizikových faktorech, výskytu a chování nemoci, diagnostické metody a léčby od historie až po současnou moderní terapii. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá rehabilitací a zkvalitněním života nemocného v domácím prostředí stejně jako přeměnou interiéru v prospěch nemocného.. -- Abstract: The qualifying thesis entitled "Care of a Multiple Sclerosis Patient" is focused on the care of the patient in home care, but also on the origin and course of the illness itself. The work is also concentrating on treating patient in home care. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on improving the quality of life for the patient and his family in the home environment. The theoretical part includes: acquired knowledge of the central nervous system anatomy and its function, definition of the disease and information on risk factors, the occurrence and behavior of the disease, diagnostic methods, and treatment from history to contemporary modern therapy. The final part of the thesis deals with the rehabilitation and improvement of the life of the patient in the home environment as well as with the transformation of the interior in favor of the patient.
