Pokusí se definovat současný stav komerční galerijní scény v Praze na základě předchozího zasazení do estetického a teoretického kontextu otázek definice umění, estetických teorií a popisu struktury a fungování současných pražských komerčních galerií a na pomoc si také vezme názor předního českého sběratele umění Patrika Šimona. Lehce nastíní historii komerčního galerijního prostoru od období po roce 1989 a problematiku trhu s uměním. The work will deal with the analysis of the environment of commercial galleries with the example of four institutions: The Chemistry gallery, Jiří Švestka gallery, Hunt Kastner Artworks and Galerie U Betlémské kaple. It will try to define the current condition of the commercial gallery scene in Prague, based on its previous placement in the aesthetic and theoretical context of questions and definitions of art, aesthetic theories and description of the structure and functioning of contemporary Prague commercial galleries and also to take the opinion of the leading Czech art collector Patrik Simon.
