Title statement Práce s nalezeným fotografickým materiálem = Working with found imagery / Radek Jandera Par.title Working with found imagery Personal name Jandera, Radek, (dissertant) Phys.des. 99 listů, 9 listů obrazové přílohy + 1 CD ROM Note Ved. práce Pavel Baňka Abstract Ve své dizertační práci se pokouším o prozkoumání teoretických možností přístupu k nalezenému obrazovému materiálu a o zohlednění různých aspektů při práci s ním. Zabývám se politicko-kulturními faktory, které ovlivňují současnou kulturu, jíž spolu s jejími teoretiky nazývám kulturou vizuální, a jež tvoří podloží zkoumaným uměleckých praktikám. Vizuální kulturu podrobně popisuji a věnuji se také technice postprodukce, která zaujímá/zaujímala dominantní postavení v rámci uměleckých postupů. Pokouším se také o nastínění možností kategorizace nalezeného obrazového materiálu. K teoretické práci s ním přistupuji pomocí hledisek vycházejících z tradičního trojúhelníku: autor dílo divák, které rozvádím směrem vycházejícím ze zohledněného tématu. Na závěr poté popisuji vlastní uměleckou tvorbu, která přímo či odvozeně vychází z načrtnutých přístupů a opírá se o zohledněná hlediska angažovanosti, občanské odpovědnosti, techniky postprodukce, práce s původním významem a naznačením významu nového a předpokladu aktivního diváka. In my doctoral thesis I try to examine the theoretical possibilities of approach to the found picture material and to take into account various aspects of work with it. I deal with the political-cultural factors that influence the contemporary culture, which I call with its theoreticians a visual culture, and which forms the groundwork of the studied art practices. I describe the visual culture in detail and I also pay attention to post-production techniques, which occupy/occupied a dominant position within the artistic practices. I also try to outline the possibilities of categorizing the found pictorial material. I approach the theoretical work with it using aspects based on the traditional triangle: the author the work the spectator, which I extend according to the direction of the theme taken into account. Finally, I describe my own artworks, which derive directly or indirectly from the sketched approaches and are based on the considered aspects of engagement, civil responsibility, postproduction, work with original meaning and indication of the new meaning and the assumption of an active spectator.
