Práce je historickosrovnávacím typem práce. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumání fenoménu pravdy v díle Mistra Jana Husa a to v návaznosti na celý jeho život. Jan Hus byl kazatelem, proto se práce zaměřuje na biblické pojetí pravdy, práce nabízí poznatky autorů, kteří se pojetím pravdy u Mistra Jana Husa zabývali a přináší autorův pohled na Husovo pojetí pravdy. Autor diplomové práce se zaměřuje na korespondenci pravdy v učení Mistra Jana Husa a jeho životem. K tomuto záměru autor analyzuje a porovnává česká díla či do češtiny přeložená díla této významné české osobnosti.. -- Abstract: This thesis briefly introduces the personality of Master Jan Hus within the context of the nominalism and realism of the Late Middle Ages. Its author also introduces the historical context of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown and their rulers whose reign went beyond contemporary Czech borders. This type of thesis is a historical-comparative thesis. The main goal of this thesis is investigating the phenomenon of truth in the work of Master Jan Hus in the connection with his whole life. Because Jan Hus was a preacher, this thesis focuses on the biblical conception of truth. It offers the findings of other authors who studied this topic and also the author's view to the conception of truth by Master Jan Hus. The author of this thesis focuses on the correspondence of truth in the teaching of Jan Hus with his life. Finally, the author analyses and compares Czech works or works translated into Czech language which were written by this significant Czech personality.
