Libkovice byly významné právě tím, že byly poslední těžbě obětovanou obcí. Základním cílem práce je připomenout historii a charakter Libkovic a názorně představit postup její likvidace od prvních rozhodnutí, přes samotný průběh, po následky této události. Také zde proběhl pokus o praktickou a výzkumnou část práce využitím poměrně nové historické metody, konkrétně orální historie. This bachelor's work is devoted to the destruction of the village Libkovice in Northern Bohemia, which is one of the other municipalities were abolished and subsequently destroyed due to coal mining.
