Zajímá nás vývoj konkrétnosti textového sdělení v průběhu času. Na začátku se práce stručně věnuje teoriím Rolanda Barthese, Viléma Flussera, Victora Burgina a pohledu z pozice vizuálních studií, které se dané problematiky týkají. Výchozím bodem je konceptuální umění šedesátých a sedmdesátých let, kdy se spojení textu a fotografie stalo praktikou, která řešila specifické problémy uvnitř uměleckého pole, anebo se stala nástrojem k artikulaci politické a sociální kritiky. V dalších kapitolách jsme si jako kategorie zájmu vytyčili narativní proud, práci s nalezenými texty, nulové body vztahu fotografie a textu (redukce vizuálního díla na text), text a fotografie na pomezí instalace, využití textu a fotografie při komplexnějších sociálních projektech, kdy umělci aktivizují svoje okolí a výslené dílo je výsledkem aktivní participace mezi umělcem a lokálními komunitami. U každého proudu analyzujeme a interpretujeme vybrané dílo daného autora. V závěru nastíníme interpretační zdroje pro praktickou část diplomové práce. Konec textu je věnován písemné obhajobě praktické části diplomové práce s názvem Kde začíná zítřek? Diploma thesis deals with topic of photography and text in visual art. We are interested in the development of concreteness text communication over time. In the beginning of the work briefly introduces the theories of Roland Barthes, Vilem Flusser, Victor Burgin and view from the position of visual studies that relates to the issue. The starting point is the conceptual art of the sixties and seventies when the conjunction of text and photographs became a practice that addressed specific problems within the artistic field, or powerfull instrument in the articulation of political and social criticism. In the following chapters we have set as a category of interest the narrative flow, working with found text, the zero points of the relationship between photography and text (reduction of visual works to a text), text and photographs on the edge of the installation, usagge the text and photos in complex social projects, which artists energize their surroundings and work is the product of active participation between the artist and the local community. For each stream we do analyze and interpret selected works of the author. At the end of thesis is the written defense of the practical section titled Where begins tomorrow? Another responsib.
