Úvodem teoretické části práce je charakteristika rozpočtového deficitu, dále je provedeno členění deficitu dle různých hledisek a je uvedena i historie teoretických přístupů k deficitu. Další kapitola je věnována příčinám vzniku rozpočtového deficitu, jeho důsledkům a možnostem financování. Následně je v praktické části provedeno statistické testování závislosti deficitu státního rozpočtu na různých faktorech pomocí metody lineární regrese. Bachelor thesis titled ?The deficit of budget of the Czech Republic and its development tendencies? deals with the deficit of budget and its development during the years 2002 to 2012. Introduction to the theoretical part of the thesis characterizes the deficit of budget, breakdown of deficit and history of theoretical approaches to the deficit. Another chapter is devoted to the causes of the deficit, its implications and funding opportunities.
