Tyto termíny dále popisuji, objasňuji a rozpracovávám, a to nejen z pohledu urbanismu a jeho historie, ale i z pohledu dějin fotografie a umění. V práci se také dotýkám problematiky manipulované fotografie architektury a současné krajinářské fotografie. To vše rozebírám v kontextu suburbanizace a architektury. V praktické části mé diplomové práci jsem téma suburbie zpracoval porovnáváním vertikálních a horizontálních sídlišť a pomocí digitální manipulace představuji jakýsi náčrt své vize v blízkém časovém horizontu. Mým cílem bylo skrze rozpoznatelnou manipulaci upozornit na tento společenský a kulturní jev, který vnímám jako problematický a do budoucna, díky své komplexnosti, velmi složitě řešitelný. This diploma thesis deals with issues that are linked to the phenomenon of satellite towns, horizontal housing development, commutervilles and urban sprawl . Further, I describe, clarify and elaborate on these terms, not only from the urbanistic and urbanism history point of view but also from the perspective of history of photography and art. Within this thesis I also touch upon the subject of manipulated photography of architecture and contemporary landscape photography. All of the above I analyze on the backdrop of suburbanization processes and architecture. In the practical part of my thesis I explore the theme of suburbia by comparing vertical housing estates with horizontal housing developments using digitally manipulated images that I utilize to outline and sketch up my vision of these places in short time horizon. Employing the process of manipulation I attempted to draw attention to this social and cultural phenomenon, which I personally see as problematic, and due to its complexity, a very challenging on for the future.
