V první kapitole je představen absolutní sluch obecně; jeho vznik, druhy i výskyt. Další kapitola se věnuje výzkumu světoznámého amerického vědce Daniela Josepha Levitina, který na základě experimentu, ve kterém požádal 46 svých studentů, aby se pokusili zazpívat 2 své oblíbené písně v originální tónině pouze na základě své sluchové paměti, dokázal, že u vysokého procenta populace existuje schopnost stabilního uchování a zobrazení tónu v jeho absolutní výšce. Na základě inspirace jeho metodou byl proveden obdobný experiment s 80 respondenty, jehož výsledky se s Levitinovými v některých bodech rozcházejí; ukázalo se, že tato schopnost není mezi českou populací zdaleka tak rozšířená, jak ukazuje Levitinův výzkum, a potvrzeno nebylo ani další Levitinovo tvrzení, a sice že schopnost latentního absolutního sluchu není závislá na hudebním vzdělání. This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of absolute pitch, mainly the area of latent absolute pitch. In the first chapter the absolute pitch itself is presented; its development, types and occurrence. The next chapter deals with the research of world-famous American scientist Daniel Joseph Levitin, who asked 46 of his students to sing 2 of their favorite songs in the original pitch just with the support of their ear memory. He proved that the ability to keep the image of tone in its height exists among high percentage of population. This served as an inspiration that led to the performance of a similar experiment with 80 respondents. In some points the results diverged. It was revealed, that the particular ability is not so widely spread among Czech population.
