Note Ved. práce Rudolf Kučera Abstract Diplomová práce Pojetí státu podle Martina Luthera a Jana Kalvína je zaměřena na osobnost a dílo obou reformátorů. Větší důraz je kladen na jejich názory a myšlenky ohledně světské moci a státu. Lutherova kritika církve si získala okruh příznivců a ti umožnili další šíření reformace. V závadění reformních principů do každodenního života nebyl Luther příliš důsledný. Naopak Kalvín se snažil své pojetí světské a duchovní správy převést do praktické politiky Ženevy. Vytvořit z ní ideální křesťanský stát. Ve druhé části své práce se budu věnovat shrnutí a vzájemnému porovnání jejich představ ohledně světské vlády a postavení duchovní moci ve státě. The Concept of a State according to Martin Luther and John Calvin is focused on the personality and work of the two reformers. Greater emphasis is placed on their opinions and thoughts regarding temporal power and the state. Luther's criticism of the Church gained a circle of supporters and they allowed further spread of the reformation. Luther wasn't too consistent with the implementation of reform principles into everyday life. On the contrary, Calvin tried to bring his concept of the secular and spiritual government into the practical policies of Geneva, to create an ideal Christian state. In the second part of my thesis I will summarize and mutually compare their notions of secular government and the position of spiritual power within the state. Another responsib.
