Prvním celkem je regionální geografie Kosova, druhý celek se zabývá kosovskou válkou, co jí předcházelo, jak probíhala a jak skončila. Dále práce pojednává o vývoji a stavu Kosova po válce. Především na základě studia literárních pramenů, ale i na základě rozhovorů se snaží o celkovou charakteristiku Kosova jako ?státu? a o celkovém vyjasnění příčin, průběhu a konci války. Práce se také zajímá o vývoj Albánského obyvatelstva na území Kosova. The thesis is focused on two parts. The first part is about regional geografy of Kosovo, the second part deals with the war of Kosovo, what precededit, how it took place and how it ended. Further more, the thesis deals with the development and situation of Kosovo after the war. Primarily on the basis of studying the literatury sources, but also on the basis of interviews, it seek to the characteristics of Kosovo as a "state" and a over all clarification of the causes, process and end of the war.
