Vizuální gramotnost [rukopis] / Vendula Fremlová. -- 2010. -- 117 l. , 10 l. : il. -- Ved. práce Jiří Bartůněk. -- Abstract: Disertační práce "Vizuální gramotnost" se zabývá problematikou vizuální gramotnosti nejen v kontextu současné pedagogiky a vzdělávání, ale též v souvislostech s proměnami společnosti a kultury. Východiskem práce je probíhající reforma vzdělávání, kladoucí důraz na osvojování klíčových kompetencí, mezi něž jsou řazeny též různé formy gramotností. Proměnu a rozšiřování konceptu gramotnosti a jeho vztahování k současnému obrazovému prostředí vnímáme jako aplikaci kognitivního přístupu na oblast vizuality. Vizuální prostředí pro nás může být zdrojem poznání. Z tohoto neutuchajícího zdroje impulzů, podnětů, forem a významů se můžeme učit. K jeho reflexi, k poučenému a kritickému vnímání však potřebujeme specifický komplex dovedností neboli vizuální gramotnost. Pomocí této vnitřní ?výbavy? můžeme lépe porozumět nejen obrazům, ale i společnosti a sobě samým.. -- Abstract: This thesis dwells on the issue of visual literacy not only in the context of contemporary pedagogy and education, but also in relation to changes in society and culture at large. The point of departure is the ongoing educational reform, laying emphasis on the process of acquiring key competencies which various different forms of literacy, too, fall within. The change and expansion of the concept of literacy and its association with the contemporary visual environment are perceived as the application of the cognitive approach in the field of visuality. The visual environment may be a source of learning for us. We may learn from this endless source of impulses, initiatives, forms and meanings. However, in order to be able to reflect on it and to perceive it in an informed and critical manner, we need a specific and complex set of skills, or visual literacy. By means of this inner ?equipment?, we can establish a better understanding of pictures, as well as of society and ourselves.
