Note Lic. smlouva Abstract Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem Evropské unie od Maastrichtské smlouvy po smlouvu Lisabonskou. Pojednává rovněž o historii Evropských společenství do vzniku Evropské unie a o nejdůležitějších smlouvách zabezpečujících fungování EU. Také popisuje orgány Evropských společenství/Evropské unie. Dále pojednává o problematice Smlouvy o Ústavě pro Evropu a o důvodech, proč neprošla hlasováními v referendech. Dále se snaží o charakteristiku základních principů EU a analyzuje některé problémy, které se objevily ve fungování institucí EU v podmínkách současné finanční a hospodářské krize. Submitted bachelor work deals with the development of the EU since the Maastricht's treaty to the Treaty of Lisabon. It deals likewise with the history of the ES till the foundation of the EU and it is all about the most important treaties securing the functioning of the European Union. Also it writes about the authorities of the ES/EU. My bachelor work makes an effort to explain the problematic of the Constitution for Europe and reasons, why it hasn't passed through voting in referendum. Forwards it tries to introduce the basic principles of the EU and it analyses some problems that appeared in the functioning of the European Union's institutions in conditions of actual financial and economic crisis.
