Vybrané aspekty kvality života mládeže s diagnózou diabetes mellitus I. typu [rukopis] / Pavel Bernát. -- 2010. -- 74 l. : [7] l. příl. : il. -- Ved. práce Jiří Škoda. -- Abstract: Předmětem této diplomové práce je výzkum vlivu chronického onemocnění diabetu mellitu 1. typu na vybrané subjektivní aspekty kvality života u dospívajících ve věku 15 - 18 let. Práce obsahuje část teoretickou, která nastiňuje základní problematiku vymezení kvality života a jejího měření, dále charakterizuje onemocnění diabetes mellitus 1. typu a jeho dopad na pacienta. V praktické části je realizován samotný výzkum vybraných aspektů kvality života, do něhož byly zahrnuty dvě skupiny respondentů. První skupinu tvořilo 80 dospívajících s diabetem mellitem 1. typu, druhou skupinu tvořilo 100 adolescentů bez této diagnózy. Pro výzkum byl využit dotazník skládající se ze dvou standardizovaných nástrojů měření kvality života. Z výsledku práce vyplývá, že subjektivní hodnocení vybraných aspektů kvality života se u dospívajících s diabetem 1. typu a mládeže bez tohoto onemocnění liší pouze v oblasti trávení volného času.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis aims at the research of the influence of type 1 diabetes mellitus on certain aspects of the quality of life of teenagers at the age of fifteen to eighteen. The theoretical part contains the definition of the quality of life and its measurement. There is also a characteristic of type 1 diabetes mellitus and its influence on a patient. The practical part consists mainly of the research of certain aspects of the quality of life, in which two groups of respondents were involved. There were eighty teenagers suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus in the first group and a hundred of healthy teenagers in the second group. The research was conducted by means of a questionnaire, which consisted of two standardized tools for measuring the quality of life. The results of the research suggest that subjective evaluation of certain aspects of the quality of life of healthy teenagers and those suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus differ only in the area of their free time activities.
