Zjištění těchto negativních faktorů lze použít k intervenci, která by vedla ke zlepšení životní spokojenosti jedinců v daném zařízení. Obsahově tato práce vymezuje pojmy životní situace, mentální retardace, popisuje možnosti sociálních služeb pro osoby s mentálním postižením v ČR, předkládá charakteristiku pobytových služeb a také vymezuje pojem životní spokojenost.. -- Abstract: The thesis focuses on well-being of people with intellectual disabilities living in an institutional care facility all over the year, in particular on the fact how the people with intellectual disabilities see their well-being, if they find any factors which affect their well-being negatively. Establishing of such negative factors may be used for the intervention which could lead to the enhancement of the well-being of people in a specific facility. With respect to the content, the thesis defines the concepts such as life situation, mental retardation, it describes social services available to people with intellectual disabilities in the Czech Republic, it characterises the residential services and defines the concept of well-being.
