Oponent František Stellner Abstract Tato práce přináší čtenáři detailní pohled na události třicetileté války, které zasáhly původně horní město Jihlavu v období, kdy se město ocitlo pod nadvládou švédských vojsk mezi lety 1645 a 1647. Práce se zaměřuje na mikrohistorický výzkum této problematiky, který umožňuje lépe porozumět konkrétním událostem a situacím v daném prostoru a čase. Pro kontext jsou zohledněny rovněž dějiny města Jihlavy během stavovského povstání. Dále se práce zabývá samotnými událostmi během dobytí města švédskou armádou a událostmi v Jihlavě po jejím obsazení, s pomocí kroniky sepsané přímo během dva roky trvající okupace. Další část práce se věnuje analýze vývoje jihlavské fortifikace a vlivu Švédů na její minulou i současnou podobu. Důležitou součástí výzkumu je také komparace s literaturou a prameny o dění v dalších okupovaných městech během třicetileté války. Zejména se jedná o situaci tří dalších významných moravských měst Brna, Olomouce a Znojma. V závěrečné fázi se práce zaobírá ozvěnami švédské okupace Jihlavy v lidových pověstech, zejména s přihlédnutím k osobě švédského plukovníka Samuela Österlinga, kterému bylo po dobu okupace svěřeno velení města. The presented theses provides the reader with a detailed insight into the events of the Thirty Years' War that affected the originally mine town of Jihlava during the period when the city fell under the dominance of Swedish forces between 1645 and 1647. The theses focuses on microhistorical research of this issue, allowing for a better understanding of specific events and situations in that particular space and time. The work contextualizes the history of the city of Jihlava during the Bohemian Revolt. Furthermore, the work examines the events during the Swedish army's siege of the city and the events in Jihlava after its occupation, with the aid of a chronicle written directly during the two-year occupation. Another part of the work analyzes the development of Jihlava's fortifications and the Swedish influence on its current and past forms. An important part of the research also involves comparison with literature and sources about events in other occupied cities during the Thirty Years' War, especially focusing on the situations in three other significant Moravian cities: Brno, Olomouc, and Znojmo. In the concluding phase, the work delves into the echoes of the Swedish occupation of Jihlava in folk legends, particularly considering the figure of Swedish Colonel Samuel Österling, who was entrusted with the command of the city during the occupation.
