Název a text práce v anglickém jazyce Abstract Cílem diplomové práce je ověřit, zda by využití mobilních telefonů jako učebních pomůcek v hodinách anglického jazyka mohlo přispět ke zvýšení motivace a zlepšení jazykových dovedností žáků 2. stupně ZŠ. Pro výzkum byly použity výstupy dvou skupin studentů 6. a 8. ročníků ZŠ experimentální skupina používala kromě standardních materiálů také mobilní telefony, kontrolní skupina používala pouze standardní materiály. Pojem standardní materiál zahrnuje učebnice, ICT (internet, digitální výukové materiály, vzdělávací software atd.). Tato práce se zabývá použitím mobilních telefonů bez internetového připojení. The aim of this master thesis is to prove whether the use of mobile phones as learning tools at the lessons of the English language might contribute to lower secondary students' higher motivation and their language proficiency. For the research there were used the outcomes of two groups of the sixth grades and two groups of the eighth graders an experimental group which used mobile phones beside the standard materials, and a control group which used the standard materials only. The term standard materials includes the textbooks, ICT (the Internet, digital learning materials, educational software etc.).
