Cílem bylo vytvořit hmatové, nebo také reliéfní písmo s piktogramy, které by bylo hmatově dobře čitelné a obsáhlo požadavky na orientační systémy pro zrakově postižené. V teoretické části bylo v první řadě zkoumáno vnímání světa nevidomých, včetně konkrétních zrakových postižení, nejen z haptického hlediska. Dále bylo pohlédnuto do problematiky orientačních systémů pro zrakově postižené a historie hmatového písma. V rámci realizace byla provedena rešerše stávajících písem a piktogramů, konzultace s tyflopedy a testování vzorečků na cílové skupině. Praktická část se skládá z 2D a 3D podkladu hmatového písma Tactus Type spolu s piktogramy a manuálem na jejich užití. Součástí diplomové práce je obrazová příloha obsahující rešerši, fotodokumentaci výsledných produktů a finální podobu 2D a 3D písma Tactus type spolu se sadou piktogramů. The diploma thesis is focused on tactile elements of orientation systems for people with visual impairment. The aim was to create a tactile or embossed font with pictograms that would be tactilely readable and covered the requirements for guidance systems for the visually impaired. In the theoretical part, the perception of the world of the blind, including specific visual impairments, It was studied primarily not only from the haptic point of view. It also looked at issues of orientation systems for the visually impaired and the history of tactile writing. In the framework of the realization, It was researched of existing fonts and pictograms.
