Jako hlavní výzkumnou metodu jsem zvolil metodu studia a analýzy existujících dokumentů. Tuto metodu jsem realizoval vyhledáváním informací z výročních zpráv různých podpůrných spolků, činných v okrese Ústí nad Labem a jejich stanov či základních listin, ze zpráv různých nadačních fondů, darovacích listin, účetních zpráv nadací a spolků, vše přístupné v Muzeu či Archivu města Ústí nad Labem. Využil jsem taktéž odbornou literaturu a dostupné internetové zdroje. Na začátku mé práce jsou nejdříve vysvětleny odborné pojmy, poté se zaměřuji na vývoj nadací obecně a následuje vývoj nadací v okrese Ústí nad Labem, který je rozdělen do několika časových období. V závěrečné fázi práce se zaměřuji na zhodnocení současné situace nadací v okrese Ústí nad Labem a srovnání nadací dříve a dnes. The aim of my thesis is to map the history of foundations in the district of Ústí nad Labem. As the main research method I have chosen a method of study and analysis of existing documents. This method I realized by looking of informations from the annual reports of the different supporting associations that were active in the district of Ústí nad Labem and their statutes or the basic lists, reports of various endowment funds, deed of gift, accounting reports foundations and associations, all accessible in Museum or Archive of Ústí nad Labem. I also used professional literature and available internet resources. At the beginning of my work as soon as possible technical terms explained, than I focus on development foundations generally and followed by the development of foundationa in the district of Ústí nad Labem, which is divided into several time periods. In the final phase of work I will focus on the foundations of the current situation in the district of Ústí nad Labem and comparison foundations earlier and today. Another responsib.
