Aljašku si člověk představuje jako zemi vzdálenou, kam se za svůj život pravděpodobně nepodívá. Liší se od všech dalších míst v celém světě. Každý den nabízí nezapomenutelný zážitek. Když se řekne nedotčená příroda, je to právě ten pohled, který se vám naskytne již z letadla. Ledovce, hory, lesy, neuvěřitelná různorodost zvířat, medvědi, vlci, losi, sobi. Můžete vidět znamenité přírodní úkazy jako je polární záře. Dýchne na vás jedinečná domácí kultura, ruské dědictví a dny zlaté horečky. Dokonce i domorodci jsou ohromeni a hodiny dokáží vyprávět o různých místech, které byste rozhodně neměli zapomenout navštívit nebo jaké zážitky si nenechali ujít. Aljaška je země superlativů a dobrodružství a mezi jedno z nich se rozhodně řadí rybolov. Toto dílo je rozčleněno na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část charakterizuje oblast z hlediska všech obecných geografických podmínek, seznamuje s jednotlivými fakty dané oblasti, s přírodními i kulturně-historickými. Dále detailně popisuje charakteristiku rybolovu v dané oblasti, její výhody i nevýhody. Praktická část poukazuje na samotný sběr dat od organizací jako je Fish & Game, kontrolující regulaci ryb v tamních vodách a správu rybářské sítě. Z těchto posbíraných dat vzniká mapa, která poukazuje na koncentraci společností v oblastech Aljašky pro zpracování ryb, ale také i jaké druhy lososů zde rybáři v daných oblastech nejčastěji loví. This thesis aims to approximate geographic environment of Alaska, give an overview of the history, natural conditions, and the economy in this area, primarily focusing on fishing as a source of subsistence and economic function. The human can imagine Alaska as a distant country, where you will never look at. It differs from all other places in the world. Every day offers an unforgettable experience. When you say the untouched nature, it´s just the look, which one you can already see from the plane. Here are glaciers, mountains and forests, incredible diversity of animals, bears, wolves, moose, and reindeer. You can see the remarkable natural phenomena such as the aurora borealis. You feel its unique indigenous culture, Russian heritage and the days of the gold rush. Even the natives are impressed and they can tell you about different places that you should not forget to visit or what experience did not miss. Alaska is land of superlatives and adventures, and one of them definitely ranks fishing. This work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the area in terms of general geography, introduces the individual facts of the matter, both natural and cultural-historical. Further, describes in detail the characteristics of fishing in the area, its advantages and disadvantages.The practical part refers to the actual collection of data from organizations such as Fish & Game, controlling the regulation of fish in local waters and management of fishermen. From these collected data I will create a map, which shows the concentration of companies for fish processing in the areas of Alaska.
