Note Ved. práce Pavel Maršálek Abstract Bakalářská práce s názvem Dopad degenerativního onemocnění kloubů dolních končetin na kvalitu života seniorů, je zaměřena na osoby s nejčastějším kloubním onemocněním, artrózou. Cílem práce je zjistit s jakými největšími překážkami a problémy se postižení ve svém životě potýkají nejčastěji a především vliv tohoto onemocnění na kvalitu jejich životů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí a to teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část objasňuje pojmy stáří, artróza, kompenzační pomůcky a kvalita života. Empirická si klade za cíl zjistit, jaké faktory se podílí na vzniku artrózy, jak nemoc omezuje postižené při pohybu po svém bytě, při vykonávání všedních denních činností, při jednání na úřadech, nakupování či cestování. Pokouší se zjistit, jakou úlohu pro seniory s pohybovým postižením hraje ergoterapie při jejich zapojování do plnohodnotného života. Šetření je kvalitativní, výzkumnou metodou je rozhovor. Výsledky jsou porovnávány v diskusi. My bachelor thesis which is called 'The impact of degenerative illness of lower limbs joints on the life quality of seniors' is focusing on persons with the most common joint illness - arthritis. The goal of this thesis is to find out what are the biggest obstacles and problems in the everyday life of the disabled persons and especially what is the illness' influence of the quality of their lives. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical one and an empirical one. The theoretical one clarifies the terms such as old age, arthritis, compensatory aids and quality of life. The goal of the empirical one is to find out which factors participate on the origin of arthritis, how the illness limits the disabled people in a movement around their homes, in everyday activities, in dealing with authorities, in shopping or travelling. This part is trying to find out what is the role of the occupational therapy in engaging in full-fledged life. The research is qualitative and an interview is used as a research method.
