Labská stezka je zde představena jako marketingový, ale též v průběhu času realizovaný fyzický produkt. Práce je rozdělena do tří tematických částí. První část práce se zaměřuje na problematiku cyklistiky v obecnější rovině ? patří sem vysvětlení příslušné terminologie, charakteristika relevantních dokumentů státu, jakož i stručný popis Ústeckého kraje, resp. řeky Labe na jeho území. Druhá část popisuje již samotnou Labskou stezku v Ústeckém kraji ? její podporu pomocí krajských úředních dokumentů, její postupnou realizaci, financování a problémy s realizací a financováním spojené. Třetí část pojednává o cykloturistických marketingových aktivitách na Labské stezce, o systémech certifikací služeb v těchto zemích, dále o organizacích, sdruženích a zájmových webech propagujících Labskou stezku. The thesis is focused on regional development by means of cycling tourism, especially by the development of The Elbe Cycle Route in the Ústí region. The Elbe Cycle Route is presented as a product of marketing and the physical product as well, which is realized over the years. The thesis is divided into the three thematic parts. The first part is engaged in issues of cycling in a generally way ? there is account of relevant terminology, characteristics of some competent national documents and some brief description of the Ústí region and The Elbe river in this region. The second part discribes The Elbe Cycle Route in the Ústí region concretely, for example its support by some official regional documents, its sequential realization, its funding and some problems related to this realization. The third part deales with some marketing activities linked to cycling tourism at The Elbe Cycle Route. Furthermore there is the chapter about the service´s certification systems in mentioned countries and some information about organizations, associations and websites promoting The Elbe Cycle Route in a different ways.
