Note Ved. práce Jiří Hoblík Abstract Diplomová práce shrnuje společné znaky dvou světově rozšířených náboženství - judaismu a islámu. Součástí práce je porovnání hlavních zásad a vymezení stejných či podobných znaků, především na základě výroků obsažených v Koránu a Tóře. Z tohoto srovnání zároveň vyplývá pohled na vzájemné rozdíly. Práce začíná úvodním přehledem o počátcích islámu a o jeho souvislosti s judaismem, následně je objasněn klíčový prvek těchto náboženství, jímž je monoteismus. Stěžejní třetí kapitola pojednává o životě a působení proroků Mojžíše a Muhammada a závěrečná kapitola je věnována předpisům, které se týkají praktických aspektů společenského a kulturního života Židů a muslimů. Thesis summarizes the common attributes of two worldwide religions - Judaism and Islam. One part of the thesis is a comparison of their fundamental characteristics and determination of their parallels and similarities, primarily based on quotes from Quran and Torah. Herewith, their differences and contrasts are also being revealed. The thesis starts with a brief review of the history of Islam and its connections with Judaism, followed by the explanation of their most dominant mutual attribute ? monotheism. The principal third chapter discusses the lifes and prophetic activities of Moses and Muhammad, while the final chapter engages in various regulations influencing Jewish and Islamic social and cultural life.
