Severoatlantická aliance jako mezinárodní kooperativní instituce [rukopis] / Žaneta Hurtová. -- 2011. -- 52 l. -- Ved. práce Andrej Sulitka. -- Abstract: Práce se zabývá významem Severoatlantické aliance, která vznikla jako mezinárodní vojenská organizace po druhé světové válce s cílem zajistit bezpečnost pro západoevropské demokratické země před případným útokem Sovětského svazu. Tomu měla zabránit především Severoatlantická smlouva, jejíž článek 5 zaručuje všem členským zemím kolektivní obranu v případě napadení. Tato část smlouvy byla natolik účinná a odstrašující, že během celé studené války nedošlo k žádnému vojenskému střetu. Hlavní náplň této práce spočívá v období po skončení studené války, které bylo pro Alianci klíčové. Severoatlantická aliance pro přežití v novém bezpečnostním prostředí 21. století musela nutně projít transformací, redefinovat svou roli, vytvořit nové struktury vedení a také poprvé prokázat schopnost účinně zasáhnout do ozbrojeného konfliktu. Aliance prokázala, že už není jen organizací kolektivní obrany, ale také orgánem kolektivní bezpečnosti.. -- Abstract: This work deals mainly with the importance of NATO, which was established as an international military organization after the Second World War to ensure the security of Western democracies against any attack by the Soviet Union. This was primarily to prevent the North Atlantic Treaty, Article 5 guarantees to all member countries of collective defense if attacked. This part of the contract was so effective deterrent and that during the Cold War there has been no military conflict. For the first time for him to revoke the Member States, paradoxically, to post-conflict East - West, particularly in the period after the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington in September 2001, when he decided to invade Afghanistan. The main content of this work lies in the post-Cold War, which was key to the Alliance. NATO to survive in the new security environment in the 21st century had to go through transformations, to redefine its role, a new management structure and also the first to demonstrate the ability to effectively intervene in an armed conflict. The Alliance has demonstrated that it is no longer a collective defense organization, but also the authority of collective security.
