Práce je rozdělena do čtyř základních částí, první obsahuje popis a charakteristiku hadů, jejich původ a zoologické zařazení. První část také seznamuje s jejich stavbou těla, od vnitřních orgánů, stavby kostry až po senzorické či prostorové vnímání hada. Do části druhé spadá obecná klasifikace hadů mezi skupinu nejedovatých a jedovatých. Početnější skupina hadů jedovatých popisuje nejznámější čeledi hadů a jejich zástupce. Ve třetí části jsou popsány složky hadího jedu. Jsou rozdělené podle několika hledisek, kde je základem řazení hadích jedů podle jejich systémového účinku a projevů intoxikace. Čtvrtá část bakalářské práce je věnována terapii hadího uštknutí, zásadám první pomoci a také možnosti lékařské využitelnosti hadích toxinů.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis is concerned on snake toxins it is written as a review that deals with snakes and their poisons. The review is divided into four main parts, the first part contains a description and characteristics of snakes, their origin and zoological classification. The first section also introduces the overall of the snake body including the internal organs, skeletal structure or the sensor and spatial perception of the snake. The second part covers the general classification non-poisonous and poisonous snakes. The larger group of poisonous snakes describes the most known snake families and their representatives. The third section describes the components of snake venom. They are divided into several groups. The basic and most common group of poisonous snake is sorted by their poisonous effects and intoxication symptoms. The last part of this review explains the treatment of snake venom intoxication, the principles of the first aid, and the possible medical utilization of the snake toxins.
