Note Lic. smlouva Abstract Ve své práci se snažím na základě analýzy současného stavu malých a středních podniků v Ústeckém regionu prokázat na modelovém příkladu Mostecka příčiny stagnace a bariéry rozvoje podnikání. V teoreticko-metodologické části definuji základní pojmy, jako je podnikání, malý a střední podnik, bariéry, zaměstnanost. Dále se pokouším co nejlépe vystihnout a popsat vývoj Ústeckého regionu od listopadu 1989 až po současnost. V praktické části pak charakterizuji demografickou a socioekonomickou situaci na Mostecku, konkrétně strukturu obyvatelstva, vývoj nezaměstnanosti a příčiny jejího vysokého koeficientu, dále oblasti podnikatelské sféry a konkrétní překážky rozvoje malého a středního podnikání v tomto regionu. Závěrem popsaný stav shrnuji a předkládám návrhy k oživení podnikatelských aktivit. My work is trying, on the basis of analysis of the present situation of SMEs in the Usti region show on a model example of Most region causes of stagnation and barriers to business development. The theoretical and methodological section defines the basic concepts such as entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized enterprises, barriers, employment. It is also trying to capture and describe the best development of the Usti region from November 1989 to the present day. In the practical part, I´m trying to characterize demographic and socio-economic situation in the Most region, namely the population structure, unemployment progress and causes of it´s increased rate and also the fields of business and practical obstacles to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in this region.
