Mercosur neboli Společný trh Jihu je integrační seskupení latinskoamerických států, které bylo založeno v roce 1991. Mezi členy tohoto uskupení patří Argentina, Brazílie, Paraguay, Uruguay a Venezuela. Uskupení má i přidružené země, kterými jsou Bolívie, Chile, Kolumbie, Ekvádor a Peru. Součástí Mercosuru je i jeden pozorovatelský stát, kterým je Mexiko. Hlavními cíli seskupení jsou vytvoření zóny volného obchodu, celní unie a společný trh mezi všemi státy Jižní Ameriky. Toto seskupení je otevřené novým členům a současný počet členů nemusí být konečný. V budoucnu se očekává, že se Mercosur rozšíří o další státy. The theme of this thesis is "The economic development of the Mercosur states, with emphasis on development in Argentina". Mercosur or The Southern Common Market, is an integrated group of Latin American countries, which was founded in 1991. The members of this group are Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. The group also posseses some associated countries, namely Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The Mercosur has also an observer state, which is Mexico. The main objectives of the group are to develop a free trade area, a custom union and a common market between all the countries of South America. This group is open to new members and the current number of members may not be finite. In future, further expansion of Mercosur to other countries is expected. Another responsib.
