V Ústeckém kraji je významně zastoupen mnoha společnostmi, které vytváří ve svém okolí mnoho příležitostí, ale také hrozeb. Zvolená diplomová práce se zabývá komparativní strategickou a finanční analýzou vybraných chemických podniků působících v Ústeckém kraji. Konkrétně byly vybrány ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o. a Lovochemie a.s. Tyto společnosti jsou největšími výrobci specifických produktů v chemickém průmyslu na území České republiky. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je komparativní zhodnocení strategické a finanční analýzy výše uvedených společností a zjištění klíčových faktorů úspěšnosti strategií. Dílčím cílem práce je průzkum vztahů vybraných zaměstnavatelů a jejich podmínky úspěšnosti společenské odpovědnosti v období pandemie COVID-19. Motivací práce jsou podmínky úspěšnosti společenské odpovědnosti a vztah těchto velkých zaměstnavatelů k regionu, ve kterém působí.. -- Abstract: The chemical industry has a long tradition in the Czech Republic. It is significantly represented in the Ústí nad Labem region by many companies, which create many opportunities but also threats in their surroundings. The chosen thesis deals with a comparative strategic and financial analysis of selected chemical companies operating in the Ústí nad Labem region. Specifically, ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o. and Lovochemie a.s. were selected. These companies are the largest producers of specific products in the chemical industry in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis is a comparative evaluation of the strategic and financial analysis of the above mentioned companies and identification of the key success factors of the strategies. A sub-objective of the thesis is to investigate the relationships of the selected employers and their conditions of CSR success in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. The motivation of the thesis is the conditions of CSR success and the relationship of these large employers to the region in which they operate.
