Teoretická část popisuje pervazivní vývojové poruchy, jejich symptomy, diagnostiku a možnosti edukace. Podrobněji definuje narušení v oblasti komunikace a sociální interakce. Dále charakterizuje terapie, které nejsou primárně určeny pro speciální pedagogiku, ale jejich metody lze využít při práci s osobami s autismem. Praktická část přináší výsledky osobní případové studie dítěte s diagnózou dětského autismu. Výzkum se zabývá možností rozvoje jeho sociálních dovedností pomocí metod zooterapie a mapuje možnost uplatnění této terapie i v prostředí školy.. -- Abstract: Bachelor thesis titled Support for development of social skills of child with autism focuses on therapeutic methods and education of individuals with autism spectrum disorders in the ambit of communication and social interaction. The theoretical part describes pervasive developmental disorders, their symptoms, diagnostics and possibilities of education. It defines in more detail the disruption of communication and social interaction. It also describes therapies that are not primarily intended for special education, but their methods can be used to work with people with autism. The practical part presents the results of a personal case study of a child with a diagnosis of childhood autism. The research deals with the possibility of development of social skills by methods of zootherapy and maps the possibilities of applying this therapy in the school environment.
