Vedoucí práce Gustav Novotný. Souběžný název v anglickém jazyce Abstract Cílem této práce je provést geografickou analýzu státu Uzbekistán. Úvodní částí je charakteristika Uzbekistánu a analýza jeho vztahů s velmocemi a sousedními státy. Poté jsou rozebrány jednotlivé regiony Uzbekistánu na základě relevantních ukazatelů a následně se vyhodnotí jejich ekonomická síla. Toto vše poslouží k identifikaci jádrových a periferních regionů Uzbekistánu. V následující kapitole se budou analyzovat česko-uzbecké vztahy ekonomické a dále pak politické vztahy v další kapitole. Závěrem bude zhodnocení, zda má pro Českou republiku obchod s Uzbekistánem přínos především v otázce do budoucna. Taktéž se uskuteční v závěru vyhodnocení regionů Uzbekistánu. Samotným závěrem bude analýza, jak diplomatické styky ovlivňují ekonomickou rovinu obou zemí. The aim of this thesis is to make geographical analysis of Uzbekistan. The introduction includes characteristics of Uzbekistan and analysis of its relations with the great powers and neighboring states. After that each region of Uzbekistan is analysed based on relevant indexes and then the economic power of every region is evaluated from this analysis. All of this serves for identification of core and periphery regions of Uzbekistan. In the following chapters there is an analysis of Czech-Uzbek economic relations and then political relations. In conclusion, we offer an evaluation if the market relation with Uzbekistan is beneficial for the Czech Republic, primarily in the future. Also we offer an evaluation of Uzbek regions.
