Oponent Ivana Šimonová. Název a text práce v anglickém jazyce Abstract Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na obtíže spojené s mluvním projevem v anglickém jazyce studentů střední školy. První část seznamuje čtenáře s vybranou tematikou týkající se výuky mluvních aktivit, možnými obtížemi spojenými s mluvením a popisuje základní charakteristiku dospívajících studentů. Výzkumná část práce zkoumá postoje a pocity studentů spojené s mluvními aktivitami a jejich obtíže při nich, zejména problematiku řečové inhibice, a zda je možná tyto obtíže zmírnit nebo jim předejít výběrem vhodných aktivit se zaměřením na párovou a skupinovou práci. Výsledky výzkumu jsou prezentovány pomocí grafů, jejich analýzou a následně případovou studií jednotlivých studentů. Závěr práce obsahuje souhrnné výsledky výzkumu a tipy, jak zmírnit obavy a nepříjemné pocity studentů při mluvních aktivitách. This diploma thesis deals with speaking difficulties in English of high school students. The first part presents readers with selected issues in the area of teaching speaking skills and outlines possible difficulties that arise in this context. Next, it provides basic characteristics of adolescents and issues regarding teaching this age group. Subsequently, the research examines students' feelings and attitudes to speaking and possible difficulties caused by their inhibition. It explores whether these can be reduced by a good choice of speaking activities with the focus on benefits of group work and pair work. The outcome date are presented via graphs with further comments followed by a detailed case study of individual students.
