Vzhledem ke kulturní odlišnosti od majority, není poskytování zdravotnické péče zcela jednoduché jako u poskytování majoritě, neboť se jedná o minoritu z jiného kulturního prostředí. Tato minorita se od naší společnosti liší vyznáním, hodnotami a zvyklostmi. Znalost kulturní odlišnosti a z toho plynoucí specifické potřeby, jsou nedílnou součástí k poskytování zdravotnické péče, aby tato péče byla co nejefektivnější a kulturně ohleduplná. Cíl: Zjistit míru komunikace mezi zdravotníkem a arabskou minoritou s následnou znalostí této minority. Metody: Byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum na základě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru (první výzkumný soubor) a strukturovaného rozhovoru (druhý výzkumný soubor) s následnou analýzou dat, tzv. zakotvenou teorií. Závěr: Z pohledu arabské minority, zdravotníci poskytují kulturně ohleduplnou péči. Komunikace se zdravotníky probíhá bez závažných problémů a specifické potřeby jsou zohledňovány. Approach the problém: Due to the large waves of migration Arab minority in the Czech Republic, paramedics often encounter this minority during the provision of health care. Due to cultural differences from the majority, not the provision of health care is quite simple as providing the majority, bacause i tis a minority from different cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of cultural differences and the resulting specific needs, are an integral part of the health care delivery, such care as efficient and culturally respectful.
