Součástí práce je výpočetní model umožňující modelovat ceny léků. Práce je členěna do 4 hlavních kapitol pojednávajících o základních pojmech, popisu způsobů oceňování léků ve státech EU, Islandu, Norsku a Švýcarsku, popisu konstrukce kalkulátoru a přehledu studií analyzujících lékovou politiku a farmaceutický trh. Práce přináší pohledy různých aktérů na trhu. Závěr práce identifikuje ideální model oceňování založený na vnější cenové referenci a podává návrhy na zlepšení.. -- Abstract: The aim of the thesis is to analyze methods of drug pricing in European Union countries, the emphasis is given on reference systems. The thesis contains a computational model, which is able to simulate price trends of drugs. The thesis is divided into four main chapters: basic facts and terminology; a description of drug pricing systems in the EU, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland; a description of the calculator model and, finally, it offers an overview of studies analyzing drug policy and pharmaceutical market. The thesis presents views of various actors in the market. The conclusion identifies the ideal pricing model based on external reference price and gives some suggestions for improvement.
