První kapitola je zaměřena na socioekonomickou analýzu sledovaného území. Tato část z demografického hlediska sleduje vývoj počtu obyvatel, přirozený a mechanický pohyb obyvatelstva, strukturu obyvatelstva podle pohlaví, věku a vzdělanostní strukturu. Údaje jsou komparovány s okresem Mělník a Středočeským krajem. První část je dále doplněna o ekonomickou charakteristiku území. Druhá kapitola je věnována dopravní infrastruktuře, významným turistickým atraktivitám a cílům v území. Třetí kapitola popisuje činnost Sdružení obcí Kokořínska. Kapitola je doplněna o přehled realizovaných projektů. Čtvrtá kapitola sleduje rozvojové možnosti území mikroregionu SOK na základě SWOT analýzy. The theme of this thesis is Analysis and development of micro-region Kokorinsko focusing on tourism. The first chapter focuses on socio-economic analysis of the monitored area. In this section, I went from a demographic perspective focused on population development, natural and mechanical movement of the population, the structure of population by sex, age and educational structure. The data are compared with the district Melnik and the Central Region. The first part is supplemented by the economic characteristics of the territory. The second chapter is devoted to transport infrastructure, major tourism attractions, and targets in the area. The third chapter describes the activities of the Association of Municipalities Kokořinska. The chapter is supplemented by a list of implemented projects.
