Vedoucí práce Ivana Kratochvílová Abstract Cíl výzkumného šetření je zaměřen na zmapování, zda a jak se senioři adaptovali na nové prostředí v institucionalizovaném zařízení. Praktická část se zaměřuje na zjištění, co pro seniory bylo největší překážkou, jaké mají vztahy s ostatními klienty a zaměstnanci ústavního zařízení, jak jsou spokojeni s poskytovanou péčí, na jaké úrovni je komunikace a zda jsou nabízené aktivizační činnosti vyhovující. Výzkumné šetření je prováděno v Domově pro seniory v Ústí nad Labem. Výzkumným vzorkem jsou náhodně vybraní senioři, se kterými jsou prováděny rozhovory. Teoretická část práce se věnuje tématům, jakými jsou gerontologie a gerontagogika,adaptace na prostředí a diskriminace vůči stáří zvaný ageismus. Dále je charakterizován proces stárnutí a zmapována problematika sociální péče o seniory. The objective of the research is focused on mapping whether and how the seniors have adapted to their new environment in an institutionalized setting. The practical part focuses on establishing what has been the biggest obstacle for seniors, what kind of relationships they develop with other clients and staff in the institution, whether they are satisfied with the care provided, what quality is the level of communication within the institution, and whether the offered programme of physical and creative activities are suitable and satisfactory. The research is conducted in selected homes for the elderly in the region of Usti nad Labem. The research sample consists of randomly selected seniors with whom interviews are carried out. The theoretical part of the work explores topics such as gerontology and gerontagogy, the adaptation to the environment and discrimination against age, called ageism.
