The theoretical part of the Bachelor Thesis is focused on Czech animation with an emphasis on its current state. Describes different definitions of the concept of animation, describes the development of technologies and the development of the game industry, and the creation of new fields of study aimed at animation at Czech universities. Furthermore, the thesis describes the origins and history of Czech animation, the development of the 90s to the present, selected exhibitions, festivals and institutions connected with animation.
