Title statement XYZ / Štefan Pecko Personal name Pecko, Štefan, (dissertant) Phys.des. 90 listů : barevné ilustrace + 1 CD Note Vedoucí práce Iva Mladičová Abstract Cílem diplomové práce XYZ je reflexe stejnojmenné výtvarné instalace, která se stala součástí výstavy Dům módy v Galerii Hraničář. Z povahy práce a její následné reflexe bylo nutné definovat pojmy jako konzumerismus, globalizace, identita, narcismus. Předmětem práce však nebylo tyto pojmy obsáhnout ve všech jejich aspektech, spíše vytvořit pole pro interpretační činnost. Tomu napomohlo i vysvětlení přítomnosti díla na výstavě, použití konkrétního materiálu, či objasnění významu diváka pro existenci díla. Dále komparací s realizacemi, které používaly podobný výtvarný jazyk, bylo dílo ukotveno do kontextu především současného umění. Mimo reflexi této výtvarné realizace je součástí práce možný pedagogický přesah tohoto praktického výstupu diplomové práce. The purpose of the thesis XYZ is a reflection of an installation with the same name, which has became the part of the exhibition: Dům umění at the Gallery Hraničář. Because of the nature of the work and its subsequent reflection it was necessary to define concepts such as consumerism, globalization, identity and narcissism. The subject of this thesis was not encompass these concepts in all their aspects, rather create a field for interpretive activities. This also helped to explain the presence of the work on the exhibition, the usage of concrete materials or the clarification of the meaning of the audience for the existence of the work. Also it helped to compare the work to another realizations which had used a similar visual language and it helped that the work could be anchored to the context - above all of the contemporary art.
