Téma této starověké armády není tak časté, ani zvlášť literárně zpracované. Myslím si, že tato práce proto přináší něco nového. Na začátku práce je zmíněna historie Číny. Zmiňuji období od čtvrtého tisíciletí až po rok 210 před naším letopočtem, kdy umírá císař Čchin Š'chuang - ti. Obsah práce přechází do období, které popisuje život a dílo Konfuciovo. Následující kapitola uvádí podrobnosti ze života samotného císaře. Nalezneme zde výčet jeho reforem, které spolu s expanzí do okolních států vedly ke sjednocení celé Číny a k vytvoření základů budoucího státu. V práci jsou uvedeny kroky vedoucí k postavení Velké čínské zdi, jakožto symbolu síly a stability nově vzniklého státu. V práci se zejména diskutuje ukázka moci ve formě vytvoření Terakotové armády, která je hlavním tématem mé práce. V závěru své práce jsem se především zaměřila na postup pro zhotovení jednotlivých terakotových bojovníků, jejich hodností, oblečení atd. Také zde zmiňuji podzemní město, které slouží k poslednímu odpočinku císaře.. -- Abstract: This work deals with the topic of the first terracotta army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. The topic of this ancient army is not so frequent ant it is not even particularly literary processed. I think this work brings something new. At the beginning of the work I mention the history of China. I refer to the period from the fourth millennium to the year 210 BC, when the emperor Qin Shi Huang dies. The content of this work goes through the period which describes the life and works of Confucius. The following section shows details about the Emperor's life. You can find a list of his reforms here. Together with the expansion into the neighboring countries the reforms lead to the unification of the whole China, and to lay the foundations of the future state. This work presents the steps of building The Great Wall of China as a symbol of strength and stability of the new state. The work is mainly a discussion, a demonstration of power in the form of the Terracotta Army - the main theme of my work. In the epilogue, I mainly focused on the procedure of making the terracotta warriors, their ranks, clothing, etc. The underground city where the emperor rests is also mentioned.
