V obecné části jsem zpracovala charakteristiku sociálních služeb v České republice, definiční vymezení pojmu mentální retardace, popis klasifikace, příčiny vzniku, typické znaky a klinické projevy. Dále se zabývám technickými požadavky pro užívání bezbariérových budov. Popsala jsem Centrum denních služeb v Jablonci nad Nisou, jeho poslání a charakteristiku. Ve speciální části se zabývám ucelenou rehabilitací, jejím dělením a popisem. Vymezením pojmu ergoterapie, definice, léčba a péče o mentálně postižené. Terapie využívané u osob s mentálním postižením. V hlavní části je zpracována kasuistika klientky, její vstupní a výstupní vyšetření, zpracování krátkodobého a dlouhodobého ergoterapeutického plánu.. -- Abstract: My thesis is titled ?Caring for people with mental disabilities in the Daily Services Center?. In the general section I discuss social services in the Czech Republic, define the term Mental Retardation, describe its classification, causes, typical characteristics and clinical symptoms. I also deal with the technical requirements for the barrier-free buildings. Finally, I have described the Daily Services Center in Jablonec nad Nisou, its mission and characteristics. In the special section I discuss comprehensive rehabilitation, its division and detailed description. I define Occupational Therapy and discuss its use in the treatment and care of mentally handicapped person as well as other therapies and treatments. The main section is focused on the clients case study, her initial assesment and final evaluation, case reports and her short-term and long-term Occupational Therapy plans.
