Note Ved. práce Jan Kyslík Abstract Anotace Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o vzniku a vývoji rhythm and blues jako samostatného stylově žánrového typu, dále popisuje vývoj tohoto žánru během jednotlivých období. V první kapitole se píše o vzniku blues, neboť R&B vzniklo z blues. V druhé kapitole je popsán vývoj blues, jeho hudebně vyjadřovací prostředky, vlivy a události působící na hudbu ve 20. a 30. letech a popis boogie woogie, neboli klavírního blues. Ve třetí kapitole již hovoříme o R&B, kterému se připisuje vznik ve 40. letech 20. století. V jednotlivých dekádách je pak popsán jeho další vývoj, co tuto hudbu ovlivnilo, jak se proměňovala. Vždy jsou uvedeni významní interpreti. U zpěváků, zpěvaček nebo skupin je uveden životopis a nejznámější alba a písně. Téma končí současnou situací a shrnutím, kam až vývoj tohoto stylově žánrového druhu dospěl. Abstract This thesis deals with the beginning and development of rhythm and blues style as a separate type of genre and also describes its trend during each time period. The first chapter is about the origin of the blues, because basically R&B originated from blues. The second chapter describes the development of blues music, means of musical expressions, influences and events which affected the music of the 20´s and 30´s years and a description of a boogie woogie alias piano blues. The third chapter talks about R&B, which emergence is attributed to the 40´s of the 20th century. In each decade is described its development, what had an impact on this music and how it has changed. There are artists mentioned individually in each period. For singers or bands is stated a curriculum vitae and best-known albums and songs.
