Zkoumá jejich historický vývoj, funkci a design. Práce analyzuje současnou produkci, její kvalitu a případné problémy co se týče konstrukce, ergonomie či vzhledu. Výsledkem této práce je návrh a realizace nového designu těchto nástrojů a jejich vyzkoušení v prototypech. Hlavním cílem práce je zlepšení především ergonomie, ale také konstrukce a vzhledu tohoto často opomíjeného nářadí.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis is concerned with design and ergonomics of the carpentry tools like a plane, chisels, gouges and a drawknife. The historical development, function and design are also examined. The thesis analyses the present production, its quality and problems concerning the construction, ergonomics or appearance. The result of the thesis is a new design of these tools as well as the realisation and testing of the prototypes. The main goal is the improvement of ergonomics, construction and appearance of these often neglected tools.
