Z důvodu absolvované stáže v Prešově jsem volila srovnání slovenského a českého pohledu na kompetence porodních asistentek. Práce je zaměřena na srovnání kompetencí porodních asistentek pohledem odborné veřejnosti v Brně a Prešově. Teoretická část sestává ze dvou hlavních kapitol zahrnující historii a současnost profese porodní asistentky, vzdělávání porodních asistentek, legislativních úprav profese a profesních organizací. Empirická část zahrnuje zpracování výzkumu realizovaného ve fakultní nemocnici v Prešově i v Brně. Baccalaureate work is a research character. I attended trainee-ship in Presov and for that reason I chose a comparison of Czech and Slovakian view of the jurisdiction of midwifes. My work is concentrated on a comparison of the way in which professional people within the community of Brno and Presov view the jurisdictions of midwifes. The theory has two main sections includes history and present of proffesion of midwife, development of the midwife, education of midwifes, legislation adjustments and professional organisations.
