První část práce se věnuje obecné problematice brownfields v kontextu starých průmyslových regionů a popisuje typologie a příčiny vzniku těchto ploch. Druhá část se zaměřuje na historický vývoj Děčína od počátků industrializace a popisuje výzkumné lokality, které byly použity v této práci. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí dotazníkového šetření mezi obyvateli a dojíždějícími za prací nebo službami do Děčína s cílem zjistit jejich postoje k brownfields, kvalitě života ve městě a popsat možnosti budoucí revitalizace. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky a diskutovány možnosti budoucího využití brownfields v Děčíně.. -- Abstract: This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of brownfields in Děčín and their potential future use. The first part of the thesis deals with the general problem of brownfields in the context of old industrial regions and describes the typology and causes of the emergence of these sites. The second part focuses on the historical development of Děčín since the beginnings of industrialization and describes the research locations used in this study. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey among residents and commuters traveling to Děčín for work or services, with the aim of determining their attitudes towards brownfields, the quality of life in the city, and the possibilities for future revitalization. The results are presented at the end of the thesis and the possibilities for future use of brownfields in Děčín are discussed.
