Souběžný název v anglickém jazyce Abstract Cílem práce je snaha o přiblížení života místní komunity - uplatnění etnografických metod v geografickém kontextu; aplikace latourovské analýzy aktérů a aktantů na konkrétním příkladu komunity obce Machov na Náchodsku. Teoretická část bude navazovat na diskuzi odborné literatury (téma etnografie a kulturních regionů, částečná komparace s existujícími pracemi o Náchodsku a Broumovsku) a zasadí nadcházející kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzu do kontextu ANT. Metodika je kombinací kvalitativního výzkumu (pilotní před-výzkum, později semistrukturované rozhovory) a výzkumu kvantitativního (analýza dostupných statistických dat a územních podkladů týkajících se zkoumaného území); následuje analytická část a diskuze výsledků; závěr shrnuje poznatky etnografického výzkumu. The goal of this thesis is description of life of local community with use of etnographic methods in geographical context, aplication of Latour's analysis of actors and actants on particular example of community of village Machov in Náchod region. Teoretical part of this thesis follows discusion of specialised literature (with topics such as etnography, cultural regions, partial comparation with existing literature focused on Náchod region and Broumov region) and sets following quantitative and qualitative analysis into context of actor-network theory (ANT). Methodology used in this thesis is combination of qualitative researche (pilot pre-researche, later folloved by semistructured interviews) and quantitative researche(analysis of available statistical and geographical data of examined territory).
