V první části se práce zabývá liberální teorií spravedlnosti Johna Rawlse. Byla to právě tato teorie, která iniciovala vznik celého sporu mezi komunitarismem a liberalismem. V druhé části je představen komunitarismus jako takový a výklad pokračuje náčrtem východisek politického myšlení M. Walzera a Ch. Taylora. Nakonec jsou porovnávány základní ideje obou komunitaristů. The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain communitarianism and political thoughts of his two key figures Michael Walzer and Charles Taylor. In the first part is the liberal theory of justice of John Rawls oulined. It was just this theory, which initiated a dispute between communitarianism and liberalism. In the secon part is communitarianism as such introduced and the main ideas of political thought of M. Walzer and Ch. Taylor distinguished.
